QPR Fans ask Jazz to ‘do the swim away’ in Cardiff

Football chants are often brilliantly inventive and knowing your opposition’s rivalry and current affairs can help but there will be few better timed than what a section of QPR fans chanted during their 2-0 thrashing over Cardiff at Legoland on Saturday.

Having just taken the lead through former Swansea and Cardiff defender Stephen Caulker, Cardiff looked to get back into the game and made an attacking change by bringing on Noone for Jazz Richards.

The timely switch was followed by a chorus of ‘Richards do the swim away’ just a week after he refused to ‘do the ayatollah’ when asked by Cardiff fans.

There was no response from the Welsh international who may not have heard the chant but it could well be a common theme with opposition fans attending the Welsh Championship side this season.
