Real Madrid To Sign Eder From Lille

Real Madrid are set to break the bank to sign Lille striker Eder after his match winning goal and performance in the Euro 2016 final. It is thought that Zidane is keen on linking the Portuguese striker up with his fellow countryman Ronaldo in a move that could see Benzema leave the Spanish capital.

Lille signed Eder from Swansea for a price in the region of £3 million after impressing on loan at the French club but it is expected to cost more than £30 million to get the striker to the Bernabeu. Huw Jenkins would have been initially pleased to hear this as Swansea have a 50% sell on clause which would land the Welsh club £12 million.

However, it has been leaked to Jack Swan that the deal is slightly more complex than this. Real Madrid are also hiring a cleaner who previously worked for Lille and the cleaner will be added into the deal to get around the sell-on clause.

The deal will look something like this:-

Eder £3 million
Cleaner £27 million

This is perfectly legal and is the type of deal which Swansea used to screw over Dutch club Utrecht after signing Vorm which left the Welsh club with a poor reputation. It is expected that Eder will sign in the next 24 hours and that shirt sales alone will cover the £30 million fee in 43 minutes.
